I coach because seeing women light up with their dreams recognized the most greatest thing in the world. It is reclaiming our birthright, it is claiming our power. The courage to undo and step out of a grind live in true authenticity is the only thing that is going to dismantle the patriarchy, the misogyny that has under its spell.

Let me tell you a story.. one day, I was in a little town in Pennsylvania about two hours North West of Philadelphia called Phoenixville. It is a town with an eclectic Main Street comprised of interesting boutiques, artist studios, cool little restaurants, tattoo parlors and microbreweries.

I walked into a storefront that sold all sorts of home decor from plates to cutlery to wall hangings, all made by local artists. In the back of the store, there was the owners own art studio. Large wood tables covered in splattered paint, colorful glass pane windows, brushes in the sink, tools for metal working could be found in that studio.

As I admired the products, people came in the door presumably friends with the artist. They made their way to the studio area, greeted by boisterous laughs. I saw open wine bottles and even a little dog running around. And I thought… I am standing in someone’s dream. One day, some time ago the artist thought… “I would love it if…” or maybe, “It would be so cool if..”

And there it was. They made it happen. Holy moly! And I thought what can be more cool than this? What is more divine than honoring the spark that lights you up?
